The Let's Go Blue Blues

Chris received a mushroom kit from Amy or Eric for Christmas, and so far, so good! The white button mushrooms were the first to come up. They were tasty
Apart from the big clod of dirt on the end, the bottom of the mushrooms (called the veil) was actually very pretty
It's no Snowmageddon, I know, but it's only pretty until we have to go somewhere
David and Emily "went camping". This was our tent
And here is the inside of our tent. There was some static, and a smelly dog. Before we go camping this summer, I think we may have to get a real tent
The snow presented some dangerous driving conditions. Even the Jeep couldn't maneuver through the drifts
More joy
We tried very hard to make snow "figures", but since the only engineer in the family grew up in Texas, they ended up looking a little...uh...well....yeah
He kept insisting that his hands weren't cold. I don't know how they couldn't be, since we couldn't see them thrugh the caked layer of snow and ice
And here you see the "snow lump", which was constructed to be a tribute to the Colts, who (at the time) had not yet lost the Super Bowl
We did not know that the spray bottle also contained vinegar, so that ended up being a little stinky when we sprayed the dye on the snow
It ain't pretty, but it got our spirits up
Wow, did he ever enjoy getting his little mitts on this bottle
Sigh.
Not really sure what his goal was here, but he seemed to be enjoying himself OK
If you're gonna squeeze the ketchup, you gotta put a little back into it
Barbecue sauce in the making
Here's our little Colts altar in the front yard. Someone went a little crazy with the blue spray bottle, but we hoped that passing traffic could tell the other thing was a horse shoe
He face planted in the neighbor's yard while trying to "mow"
I kid you not, it took us about 45 minutes to walk around the block on Sunday. If there was a snow pile, he had to climb on it. Sometimes twice
From our fingernails to our toes, we still Believe in Blue. Thanks for a great season, boys. We can't wait until next year!
