the cake continues

It was rough going back to work after spending two lovely weeks at home, but we managed to survive and make it to the weekend. Saturday we had not one, but two parties to attend. Jake and Toby turned four and two (respectively) and then Chris and Emily headed out in the evening to a party just for grown-ups. Sunday was spent running our requisite weekly errands, going for a swim at the Y, and just hanging out, being happy, using our forks and minding our manners very well. Two of the three of us were even consistent about using the potty...
The first official #2 in the potty! I know it's kind of gross, but if you had any idea how significant this thing is, you'd also promise to go right out and buy David a new Matchbox truck
Good morning
He insisted on trying the pomegranate seeds, and after getting over the initial tartness, ate about half a cup of them
Even though we were at Toby (and Jake's) party, dude refused to let Sara or Rob fix his hair beforehand
I see one little dog who will not be eating any of David's hot dog. Sorry, Duke. Your kibble's in the kitchen
Dog or Ewok? You be the judge
Trucks on cakes: they're so hot right now
Tose candles could not be blown out fast enough for any of the five children huddled around the table. Some of them were actually waiting for the cake, but most of them were vying for the construction equipment on top
Well, what else are you going to use the digger for?
Day's work is done. Do a little eating, do a little smearing, get your hair all sticky and blue, and then ask for (of all things) a fruit cup. Good job, Toby Joe. Happy Birthday!
